Royal Wedding highlights

Hope you are all enjoying yet another bank holiday weekend
- and that you enjoyed Easter last weekend :)  Some chocolate goodies worked their way into my hands so I was a happy bunny (pardon the pun!).

Didn't even know that Caramel bunnies existed!
Trying to compete with MaltEaster bunnies much?

This week I was devastated. I finished up the last drop of my SunSilk Anti-Frizz Waves & Curls  Leave In Cream and after scanning all my local Boots, Superdrugs and chemists, I couldn’t find it anywhere. I even tried looking for it online.

It appears that SunSilk may have been discontinued (well in the UK at least). I found a bottle on eBay – but there’s no way I'm paying £10 for 200ml!

It’s such a shame because it’s the only product ever to have defined and de-frizzed my curls properly without making them look greasy. If anyone knows of any other good curl taming / defining leave in conditioners / treatments please let me know! Need to tame this afro hair already!

Finally, did everyone see footage / pictures of the Royal Wedding?
Didn’t Kate look beautiful in her Alexander McQueen gown? Mind you, I’m probably biased (I very nearly got a job at Alexander McQueen HQ).

I can’t believe that Kate went from this:

…to this:

I loved the lace overlay and the minimal accessories - with a dress that special, they weren’t needed.

Besides all the dress perving (won’t bore you with any more pics – you’ll see them on plenty of other blogs) there was one picture that made me Laugh Out Loud:

A case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time!

  1. Ooo that last picture is bad, I would be so embarrassed.

  2. So jealous of the Kinder chocolate, it's my favourite! & ha, so childish but the last picture made me laugh! xx

  3. Ahhh Malteaser Bunnies are my favourite at the moment! Love how you've done a before and after shot of kate middleton. x

  4. Haha love that last photo! She looked lovely though, definitely an improvement on the uni fashion show Kate! xx

  5. i wasn't really that fussed on kates dress actually - i preferred the bridesmaids! and i'm still feeling hurt over the fact that i had no easter chocolate :( x

  6. hahaa! oh lordy, that last pic is a bad 'un! Bet the tabloids loved it. I did indeed watch plenty of footage, and honestly i could watch it all over again - i'm so soppy! x

  7. such a beautiful day all round. haha that last photo makes me chuckle.

    Helen, X
