Garlands, suspenders and festival longings…

A while ago, I returned some things to New Look and found myself receiving part of my refund on my card (my original form of payment) and some as a credit note. The credit note baffled me as none of my items were sales items -and I’d returned everything on time. I tried to argue my way out of it but the girl on the till was a bit hopeless so I just let it slide. I think I would have been less annoyed if she’d given me a voucher – but a piece of paper that looks like a receipt? Something that would be so easy to lose or throw away accidentally...

Scared for its safety, I took another trip to New Look to make the most of it.

Here’s what I bought:

I have always wanted to try suspender tights and seeing as they’re the same price everywhere else, I thought why not?

The garland was in the sale. It’s missing a lot of its greenery but I don’t mind. Some flowers on these styles of head bands are too fake looking for my liking - but these were doable. Sadly I didn’t have tickets to any of the recent - or up and coming – festivals. So this weekend I will be at mine watching the Reading highlights wearing my garland in tribute J

  2. Hm, that's so weird that she gave you a credit note instead of a full refund! At least you took advantage of it, love the tights!

  3. Haha "girl on the till was a bit hopeless" I really hate it when they are or when they look at you like "why are you making me scan your items even though I work here?" thankfully it doesn't happen too often!

  4. Heyo! How are you? Shame about the return thing. People are dumb. Fact.

At least you got some cool stuff, anyway. I'm really digging those tights. I haven't seen them at all over here...might be time to start looking!
